Overview

The Center of the Nation Series is a bunch of races in different states in the Midwest that last from Monday, September 29, to Saturday, October 4, 2025. The dates and locations are as follows: Day 1 (Mon, Sept. 29): Cheyenne, Wyoming; Day 2 (Tue, Sept. 30): Colorado; Day 3 (Wed, Oct. 1): Chadron, Nebraska; Day 4 (Thu, Oct. 2): Belle Fourche, South Dakota; Day 5 (Fri, Oct. 3): Bowman, North Dakota; Day 6 (Sat, Oct. 4): Baker, Montana. Runners can opt for an early start (6 am) or otherwise start at 7 am; because of their “no runner left behind” policy, there is no cutoff time, so walkers are welcome. Strollers are also allowed.

There’s one large aid station that has a lot of options, from fruit to jelly beans, sandwiches to hot coffee. They also have a mobile restaurant, the Loony Lunchbox.

Every participant will receive one T-shirt and other goods. All finishers will receive a separate medal for each day. There is also a special medal for those who complete all of the races in the series. There’s an award to each person participating in his or her first full or half marathon. Finally, there is the caboose award, given to the final finisher of each marathon and half marathon.
