The course for the upcoming race features a variety of signage to guide participants along the correct path, including directional signs, colored flags/ribbons, and possibly traffic cones. Participants can expect a mix of wide, open trail roads and single-trail bicycle paths, with the course not being blown off or maintained. It’s advised to wear appropriate footwear due to potential water retention in the area.
For the half marathon, there will be a total of 4 aid stations, with one of them also serving the 5K course. These stations will be manned by race staff but will operate on a self-serve basis, allowing participants to grab what they need. Both water and electrolytes will be available at all stations, with energy gels provided at aid station 3.
Participants in the Half Marathon must complete the race within a 4-hour time limit, and all participants must be 12 years of age or older.
While pets are not allowed on the race course or in the post-race area for safety reasons, service animals recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted. Participants intending to run with a service animal should contact the race organizers via email for further assistance.
