Course Description
Runners can choose from three remarkable experiences: conquer the full marathon, embrace the challenge of the Athena Half Marathon, or join forces with a team of four for a relay-style marathon adventure. Hydration awaits at convenient water stops every 2-3 miles, and nutritional support is provided at miles 8 and 15. Runners will be accompanied by bike escorts on the scenic greenways, ensuring a safe and delightful journey. Piedmont Healthcare, the event’s sponsor, provides medical assistance overseen by the expertise of its medical director, Dr. Joe Colasurdo, DPM.
