Experience the thrill of turning back the clock and springing forward into an exhilarating run at Heckscher State Park’s Half Marathon and 5K! Revel in the vibrant fall foliage while earning fantastic swag and indulging in delicious treats from All Round Foods. As part of the amenities, there will be an ‘informal’ bag check in the staging area, and conveniently located bathrooms within a few minutes’ walk from the start and finish areas. Hydration awaits at the finish line, complemented by high-quality refreshments from All Round Foods. For those preferring a virtual experience, compete from the first day of the event for a week, logging your time and sharing up to five photos.
Course Description
The USATF CERTIFIED Course Map is available for reference. Half Marathoners are reminded to cross the finish line mats for each loop to ensure accurate split times and synchronized split and finish line photos. The cutoff time is set at 2:45hrs, with the final loop commencing by 10:15 AM. The Start & Finish Line is situated at the east end of Field 4, with check-in located in the parking lot of Field 4. Public bathrooms are nearby, and water is provided at the finish line and along each loop for Half Marathoners. The 5K entails one loop, while the Half Marathon comprises four loops of exhilarating running.
