Overview
Course Description
Beginning near the State Capitol Building in downtown Boise, runners begin the half marathon by heading north and then east along Jefferson Street. After a right turn and a trip past Municipal Park, the half marathon course continues east along East Warm Springs Avenue for several miles.
After turning around near East Parkcenter Boulevard, the half marathon course continues west until turning right at River Run Drive and continues weaving through the assorted paved courses and roads along the Boise River. Runners make their way toward Julia Davis Park, home of attractions such as Zoo Boise, Idaho Black History Museum, and the Discovery Center of Idaho.
The last section of the course leads runners south along the western part of the Boise State University campus before looping northwest and finishing in Ann Morrison Park.
