Taking place in Fort Ebey State Park on Whidbey Island, Washington, the Fort Ebey Kettles Trail Run offers a marathon and half marathon on day one and a 10k and 5k on day two.
Runners will gather at the Gun Battery picnic area and will traverse trails and sections with twists and turns. While there are no major climbs, the marathon course has an elevation gain of 5500.
Each course includes a stretch with a waterfront view along the bluff-top trail. The 5k and 10k courses make a single clockwise loop in the western part of the park, while the Half Marathon ventures further into the eastern part of the forest. The Marathon route traces the Half Marathon loop twice.
Participants get a finisher medal and a shirt.
