The Grand Ridge race, presented by Arc’teryx Seattle, offers a number of events: 5-mile, half-marathon, full marathon, or 50K. There is also a kid’s run.
The race course is made of two distinct loops: a 5-mile loop and a half-marathon loop for longer distances. Marathon runners will complete two loops of the half-marathon course, while 50K participants will complete two half-marathon loops followed by one 5-mile loop. The kid’s race allows parents to join their children on the 1.1-mile crushed gravel trail course at Grand Ridge.
During the event, the trails remain open to other users, including pedestrians and cyclists. Aid stations will be stocked with water, Tailwind, Clif products, and various snacks. Volunteers will assist in giving out stacks.
Every finisher receives a piece of handmade finisher swag, made using solar power in Anacortes, Washington. Post-race, there will be meatballs with a choice of sauce att the finish line.
