Prepare for a thrilling day of running through the heart of O’ahu’s coveted Hoakalei community and Wai Kai, the west side’s newest recreation facility, as Aloha Racing proudly presents the 2nd annual Laule’a 5K, 10K & Half Marathon. Nestled amidst the stunning landscape, these flat and fast courses promise spectacular views of Ernie Els’ signature golf course, home to the LPGA LOTTE Championship, and the breathtaking Leeward Coast at Nimitz Beach. Runners will find themselves immersed in the beauty of the island, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Adding to the significance of the run, the event is dedicated to supporting Protectors of Paradise, a charity that has been working tirelessly since 2016 to protect the land and ocean from abusive or harmful activities. With a passion for preserving the beauty of Hawai’i for future generations, Protectors of Paradise demonstrates their commitment on Earth Day by removing over 90,000 pounds of rubbish from areas surrounding Leeward beaches. By participating in the Laule’a run, athletes contribute to the ongoing efforts of this dedicated organization, helping to ensure a sustainable and pristine environment for all.

Course Description
The courses kick off with a left onto Keone’ula Blvd, taking runners approximately 1/4 mile before a turnaround that leads them past Wai Kai and the Hoakalei Country Club. After a second turnaround at the 1.75-mile mark, 5K participants will head back towards the finish line. Meanwhile, 10K and Half Marathon runners will turn right to explore the scenic beauty of Ka Makana St. The Hoakalei development provides a picturesque backdrop, with Geiger Rd marking the turnaround point for 10K athletes. Half Marathon participants will continue toward Coral Sea Rd, treating themselves to a straightaway surrounded by the island’s natural splendor before enjoying a breathtaking view of the Leeward Coast on their return journey. Lace up and join Laule’a for an unforgettable run, breathtaking vistas, and a meaningful contribution to the preservation of Hawai’i’s paradise.
