Set for its 13th annual running along a former railroad that’s been converted into a 70-mile paved path for running, biking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing, the Little Miami Half Marathon offers a tranquil and scenic course that’s shaded by trees for much of the route, as it runs along the Little Miami River here in southwestern Ohio.
The race follows an out-and-back route that starts and finishes in the small village of Morrow, which is home to roughly 1,300 residents and to the state’s second-largest winery, Valley Vineyards.
