Welcome to the Long Bridge Half Marathon in beautiful Sandpoint Idaho, taking place on Saturday, May 11th, 2024!
Scenic Views, Trail Runners, PR Chasers. Taking runners over the pristine mountain lake of Lake Pend Oreille and the Selkirk Mountains, the Long Bridge Half Marathon is amongst the most scenic Idaho courses, and the first of its kind in the Inland Northwest.
Fast and flat, this course also happens to be ideal for those chasing their next personal best! Comprising both paved roads and dirt trails, it’s the perfect mixture of terrain to hit that coveted PR.
Starting at 8:00 a.m at Standpoint City Beach Park, the half marathon course takes runners on an out-and-back adventure along the Serenity Trail. Over Long Bridge, a historic bridge in Sandpoint, ID, runners persist along Lake Pend Oreille.
All registrants will receive with their purchase a personalized race bib and a custom technical fabric t-shirt. All finishers will be awarded with a custom commemorative finisher’s medal.
Post-race, all participants are encouraged and welcomed to stick around for some post-race celebrations accompanied by delicious complimentary food.
