Overview

Say “Wastin’ away again… but running!” at the first-ever Margaritaville Run Orlando Half Marathon, set for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Margaritaville Resort Orlando in Kissimmee, FL. Hosted by Easy Day Sports, this inaugural distance complements the event’s 10K and 5K races and immerses runners in the laid-back, island-inspired “Margaritaville State of Mind”

The half marathon starts at 7:00 AM EDT, launching from the resort grounds and looping through local scenic roads, including a memorable stretch across H2O Island before finishing in the vibrant Promenade at Sunset Walk.

With roughly 643 ft of rolling elevation, participants tackle gentle coastal-style terrain—pleasantly undulating but still accessible to walkers and joggers.

Aid stations are located at or near each turnaround (Miles 5, 8, and 11), stocked with water, sports drink, and fruit. The goal—complete the race within 3 hours 45 minutes (approx. 17 min/mile pace).

After crossing the finish line, runners transition into a festive Finish Line Festival featuring live music, vendor booths, and a free margarita and Landshark beer (21+).
The event also includes a costume contest with prizes, bib engraving, and Expo with a pre‑race happy hour Thursday evening.

The race benefits Give Kids The World Village, supporting critical wishes for children and families, with fundraising perks including reimbursement of your race fee if you exceed $250 in donations.

“Fun event… The post‑race party was fantastic!” – Runner feedback from earlier editions
