Be a part of the amazing community of Wynne, AR, and particularly, Crowley’s Ridge, and sign up for Mid-South Races for Hope to help them rebuild what they’ve since lost due to a devastating 2023 tornado. Small Towns. Providing runners with a slice of the American countryside, the Mid-South Races for Hope Half Marathon is a great opportunity to escape the noise of the city and instead enjoy what it’s like to run in nature amongst the fall colours of Crowley’s Ridge. Designed with scenic views and Southern hospitality in mind, this course boasts rolling hills, countryside treelines, and acres of awe-inspiring farmland throughout.
Course Description
This out-and-back style course begins and ends on 1200 Bridges Street at Wynne Baptist Church and takes runners through the historic district of Wynne, Arkansas, continuing through Crowley’s Ridge and its beautiful harvesting fields. Aid stations throughout the course are packed, so no need to worry about coming prepared yourself; from vaseline and Gatorade to water, fruit, and refueling snacks! If you’re lucky enough to cross the finish line and receive a finisher’s medal, be sure to stick around for the BBQ celebration and enjoy some small-town hospitality.
