The New Year’s Day 5K & Half Marathon (#NYD5K or #NYD5K&HALFMARATHON) in Shreveport, Louisiana kick off at 9 AM (8:50 for the Half Marathon) to allow participants a well-deserved sleep-in after ringing in the New Year. Both races are priced at $24, with a portion of donations supporting MACRA to aid Active Duty Military, National Guard, Reservists, and Veterans.
Participants will enjoy a spectacular course, lively music, and a chance to win awards for placing. There are optional shirt purchases at $25 ($27 for half) during registration. Register early—the first 250 registered runners receive Finisher Medals. Registration opens at 8:00 am on Race Day for an additional $5. You can also opt for the virtual 5K or Half Marathon to receive swag shipped directly (continental US only).
