Overview

Welcome to the Nutmeg State Half Marathon! This annual race has taken place for years and is a favorite among runners due to its scenic course and supportive community. Runners will start their journey at 6 AM, with bib pick up at 5:30 AM sharp on race day. The race takes place in the beautiful city of Hartford, Connecticut, known for its rich history and charming New England architecture. Participants in the half marathon will have the opportunity to enjoy the stunning Hartford skyline as they tackle 6 full laps plus .3 miles out and back for a total of 13.1 miles. The course is primarily on asphalt with a short half- mile stretch on a dirt path. Golf cart paths do intersect with the course loops, so runners should yield the right of way to the golf carts. There is one hydration and nourishment aid station, which is stationed at the finish line.
