Prepare to embark on a running adventure at the Run Your Buns Off Marathon, a multi-distance event set to unfold on Saturday, April 6th, 2025, starting at the east end of the picturesque Hawthorne Trail.
COURSE HIGHLIGHTS:
The half marathon and full marathon boast USTF certification, ensuring a professionally measured and accurate course. Participants will kick off their run at the East end of the Hawthorne Trail, with both races following an out-and-back format. Marathoners will complete four laps, while half marathoners will conquer two laps, promising an immersive experience in the scenic surroundings.
HYDRATION STATIONS:
Stay refreshed throughout your run with strategically placed water and Gatorade stations in cups. Liquid hydration will be available at the loop and mile markers 1.3, and 3.275, ensuring runners maintain their stamina along the route.
PARKING:
Convenient parking options include behind Island Doctor’s (21815 SE 71st Ave, Hawthorne, FL 32640) and overflow parking at the High School (21403 SE 69th Ave, Hawthorne, FL 32640), providing easy access for participants.
AWARDS AND SHIRTS:
Celebrate your achievement with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Age Group Awards (Male & Female) across various categories. Age groups span from 9 and under to 85-89, recognizing a broad range of participants. Stylish racer-back tops for women and tank tops for men will be the coveted race shirts. It’s essential to register before March 25th to guarantee your shirt, with a delightful Cupcake Race shirt substitution for late registrations.
TROPHIES AND CELEBRATION:
