Held at Riverdale Regional Park, the 10th annual Run with Scissors Races 50k, Marathon, and Half Marathon is a community in-person and virtual event that’s in support of the developmentally disabled and in memory of the race founder, Bill Morton. PR Chasers, Trail Runners. Because of the unique looping course design, this event is extremely social, with crowds always present, whether spectators or runners themselves. Though the course isn’t the most scenic (1.31 looping course around a lake), the environment itself is quite lively. Notably one of the flattest courses in Colorado on a combined paved and dirt road path, you can expect to be chasing a PR if that’s your goal! With a delightful climate likely around this time of year in Brighton, CO, it should be a day to remember.

Course Description
Taking place on a 1.31 mile looping course around Mann-Nyholt Lake, the half marathon course consists of 10 laps total, starting and finishing a the same location. Thanks to its simple design, aid stations are never too far away. All registrants will receive a custom race beanie, a custom scissor-shaped finisher’s medal, and a custom pint glass. There will also be a draw for an additional bonus swag bag. For the highest achieving of the male and female categories (top 3), additional awards will be presented
