The city of Beuna Vista itself makes for an incredible racing destination. Overview
Course Description
Starting and ending near Eddyline Brewery and Surf Hotel on S Main Street near Front Loop, the half-marathon race begins by sending runners along the Arkansas River Trail before quickly edging onto Ramsour Road. From there, it’s an immediate deviation back onto the trail system for a rollercoaster of ups, downs, twists, and turns. At mile 7.5 it’s off the trail system and onto the Country Road 304. For the final mile, it’s back onto Arkansas River Trail before reaching the finish line back where it all started. There are three aid stations throughout the half marathon course, so it’s encouraged to come prepared with more fuel should you require it. All aid stations will have ice-cold water, soda, and electrolyte beverages, along with pretzels, fruit, cookies, and gels! At the finish line, participants can expect an award ceremony, a host of food and drink by several local vendors, and of course, a celebration worth sticking around for.
