Scenic Views. Taking runners through an award-winning State Park in that of Nathan Benderson Park, the Sarasota West Coast Half Marathon is amongst the most scenic, picturesque, yet challenging courses in the state.
Featuring a 400-acre lake (yes, you read that right), the course offers runners sights not only of beautiful bodies of water but also of state-of-the-art rowing facilities and, of course, the iconic “Floating Final Mile”.
Known for its white sandy beaches and vibrant downtown scene, Sarasota, Florida is the perfect destination for runners alike to make the most of their race weekend, with tons to do after the race itself is finished.
