The Sonoma Coast Trail Runs are scheduled for Saturday, May 30, 2026, offering a series of challenging trail races through the picturesque landscapes of Sonoma Coast State Park in Duncans Mills, California. Organized by SkyBreaker Racing, the event features four distances: 50K, Trail Marathon, 30K, and Half Marathon.
Participants will traverse a diverse course that includes ridgelines with ocean vistas, the summit of Red Hill, and serene redwood groves. The start and finish lines are located at Pomo Canyon Environmental Camp, providing a rustic and immersive trail running experience.
To promote environmental sustainability, the event is cupless; runners are encouraged to bring their own reusable hydration systems. Aid stations will be well-stocked with water, electrolytes, snacks, and energy gels. Finishers will receive a full-color medal and a post-race meal, with vegan options available.
Due to limited parking at the start/finish area, participants are required to park at 55 Austin Creek Rd, Cazadero, CA, with shuttle services provided to the race site. Shuttles will depart an hour and fifteen minutes before each race start time and will run continuously throughout the afternoon.
For those interested in camping, Pomo Canyon Environmental Camp operates on a walk-in basis with no reservations. Campers should bring cash for on-site payment and note that there is no running water available.
