The Sorta Mountain Stage Race 18M Half Marathon and 5M takes place in Borden, Indiana, on September 14th, 2024. The event features a 5-mile and 18-mile course and takes runners on the rugged Knobstone Trail. The first 65 entrants receive a free T-shirt. All races start at 8 am. There are awards, bonus prizes, and recognition for the top runners. After the event, participants, volunteers, and their families can enjoy refreshments. There are aid stations throughout the course that provide gatorade, water, and food. The 5-mile route has an aid station and a pivot at the 2.5-mile mark. The 18-mile course takes runners to the Round Top Knob summit and back. Funds raised go towards Suicide Awareness & Support (SAM’S) Foundation.
