Overview

Known as the World’s BEST multi-day, multi-state running series, the Southwest Series Marathon, Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k is one of over 75 events hosted across the United States. Running (no pun intended) from November 5th-10th, The event in Flagstaff takes place on Day four (4).

Fast and flat. This course takes place in beautiful Flagstaff, AZ, in the middle of the grandiose 215-acre landscape of Buffalo Park. With scenic mountainous views, vast nature and greenery, and a likelihood of spotting wildlife, this course is largely on crushed gravel paths.

Course Description

Offering an early start of 6:00 am Mountain Time, this race lines runners up at the start line in Buffalo Park at 2400 N Gemini Road. Half Marathon Runners will then set their sites ahead for a 2.2 mile looping 6 lap race course, ultimatley ending back where it all began. For those curious about the bling and swag that comes with registration, here’s the scoop… First, everyone will receive a t-shirt and other fun surprises. Next, you’ve got the medal; that is if you finish it, of course! Finally, if it’s your first ever half marathon completion, this event’s got a special finisher’s medal for you!
