Celebrating its 42nd year in total, eight of which have hosted the summit-to-summit half marathon, the Spa Running Festival is an incredible day for all to enjoy, friends, family, and children alike. Starting and finishing at 134 Convention Boulevard, the Spa Running Festival Half Marathon kicks runners off through the paved roads of Hot Springs National Park beginning at 7:00 a.m. in pursuit of Malvern Avenue. Throughout this turn-by-turn course, runners will traverse several streets, drives, avenues, and trails, including the Hot Springs Mountain Loop, West Mountain Drive, Broadway, and Convention Boulevard. Too many to count, this course is full of twists, turns, and loops. Within the first five miles, runners will encounter several landmarks, including the Hot Springs Bathhouses, the Visitors Fountain, and the Hotsprings Mountain Tower. Onward, they’ll be met with several aid stations before reaching the finish line. Having taken the time to develop a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of a finisher’s medal, the Spa Runners Festival crew are proud to provide each finisher with an incredible piece of memorabilia designed with the Hot Springs Mountains in mind. Along with the finisher medal also comes a festival-themed long-sleeve shirt, and of course, a post-race celebration.
