Course Description
Starting and finishing at the Biergarten at Anheuser-Busch Brewery on 2351 Busch Drive, this flat half marathon course comprises both paved and dirt roads. Exiting Busch Drive, runners enter onto East County Road 52 for about 1.5 miles, turning right onto North County Road 11 at mile 2.2. It’s then a loop around Elder Reservoir, leading runners onto East County Road 56 where they’ll ultimately turn around at mile 6.7 and retrace their footsteps back to the finish line. There are five aid stations throughout this out-and-back half marathon course, at mile 2, 4, 6.5, 9, and 11. With a 3 hour 30 minute time limit, and ample fueling throughout, this course is bound to result in some PRs. All finishers will receive a finisher’s medal, with the top 3 male and female as well as the top age group performers awarded with separate awards.
