Overview

Welcome to the Tecumseh Trail Challenge! The ultimate test of strength, endurance, and perseverance. Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner or a first-timer, this race has everything you need for a challenging yet rewarding experience. The half marathon course stretches for 13.1 miles through the beautiful and rugged terrain of Jackson-Washington State Forest. The course is said to be rated 5/4 on difficulty, featuring steep hills and rough surfaces that will test your limits. But don’t let that stop you from joining in on the fun! The autumn colors will create a picturesque backdrop as you push yourself to the finish line.

Course Description

And the fun doesn’t end there! Race directors are now offering a redesigned nostalgic course that will take you through the demanding and challenging, yet beautifully rewarding terrain that the old Tecumseh Trail is known for. As you navigate through the winding trails, you’ll encounter aid stations at Dam and Marlett Rd, with access to porta-potties and refreshing drinks to keep you going. The finish line will be a welcome sight, located in the grassy field of the Yellowwood Group Camp area. But the challenge isn’t just about the race – it’s about the entire experience. Festival-style camping is available at the race site, with 74 “primitive” developed sites just a mile south of the race start.
