Overview
Offering three race distances with something for everyone, the Florida Run @ Louisa State Park is a Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k running event, presented by Publix.
Scenic Views. From abundant wildlife amidst vast terrain to rolling hills and picturesque views of the lakes within Louisa State Park, this course is among the most nature-filled, beautiful courses in the state.
Positioned in the central region of the state, this course provides locals and visitors alike with a serene atmosphere and connections to numerous lakes and outdoor activities to explore once the race is complete.
Course Description
Taking place in Lake Louisa State Park along its guided trails, runners will venture around the park in a looping fashion, passing by several landmarks and lakes throughout including Hammond Lake and DIxie Lake.
Each runner will not only be provided the opportunity to be professionally chip timed but they will also be awarded commemorative finisher’s medals as well as a ton of race swag that accompanies registration.
Aid stations will be posted every two (2) miles, with some being self-serve and others being accompanied by volunteers.
