Join us on September 28, 2024, for a unique trail running experience at Lake Somerville State Park! This year, the race will take place exclusively in the Birch Creek Unit, offering runners the opportunity to explore its scenic trails and natural habitats.
Although the race will be contained within the Birch Creek Unit this year, we’re excited about future possibilities. Plans are underway to rebuild a washed-out bridge, which will eventually provide access from one side of the lake to the other, expanding the trail network to include the Nails Creek Unit. Imagine over a marathon’s worth of trails to explore in one direction!
The course winds through picturesque terrain, with canopied paths and rolling hills alongside the tranquil lake. The start and finish line is located at a beautiful spot on the lake’s edge, providing a perfect backdrop for post-race relaxation and celebration on a spacious grass lawn.
Every participant will receive cool swag, but don’t forget to register by September 3 to secure your race shirt. Additionally, a $10 fee for one day of park access will be collected during registration. For those planning to stay longer, additional fees will apply upon entering the park.
