Overview

The Town of Celebration Marathon & Half Marathon is entering its 11th year this coming January, 2024, ringing in the new year in the best way possible. Its aim is to raise a total of $35,000 for local high-school students in pursuit of higher education.

Small Town, Scenic Views. Providing runners with the opportunity to journey through one of America’s “prettiest” neighborhoods, the Town of Celebration course is not only fast and flat but it’s scenic.

Located just five minutes from Disney World in Orlando, Florida, Osceola County and the Town of Celebration is an ideal destination to host a race event, with endless activities and things to do once the race is complete.

Course Description

Starting at 7:00 in tandem with the full marathon participants, the half marathon kicks runners off along Front Street & Sycamore Street in pursuit of Golf Park Drive to complete the first mile.
Onward onto Celebration Avenue, runners continue onto the Hospital Access Road before reaching a long stretch on Celebration Blvd. Passing World Drive, runners make a loop before heading down the boardwalk.
Finally, it’s several twists and turns through the neighborhood streets of Osceola County before crossing the finish line on Market Street.
For registrants and finishers, gender-specific raceday t–shirts and custom finisher’s medals are in order. Post-race, runners are encouraged to stick around for food and beverage from varying local restaurants, in addition to a pancake party. This is all complimentary, included in your raceday fee.
