The predominantly pavement half marathon course makes one 13.1-mile loop, starting and ending at the grandstand at the fairgrounds. (Marathoners will complete two loops to fulfill their distance.) The route features some rolling hills, with approximately 400 feet of elevation gain per each loop.
If your loved ones are coming to the race, they are welcome to offer you course support between loops of the marathon. If they’d like to cheer you on during the race, several options are available. The bandstand is a great area to watch the start and finish.
A spectator zone is also available at Indian Ladder Farms Cidery & Brewery, which borders miles 5 and 18 of the course. Draft beer and hard cider is offered with a $1-off discount to all runners who show their bib after the race.
