Welcome to the Vincennes Historical Half Marathon, where racers run through the heart of Indiana’s first city and its most iconic landmarks. This half marathon is organized by the Rotary Young Leaders of Vincennes, a non-profit organization that aims to promote our city’s history, local businesses, and community projects. The race includes a 5K and a kid fun run which is absolutely free for kids aged 12 and under, but the half marathon is the real crown jewel of the event. The course is flat and scenic, perfect for runners of all levels, from seasoned veterans to first-timers looking to test their limits. Starting off at 8:00 am, the course will take you through Vincennes’ historic sites, such as the George Rogers Clark National Historical Park, the Red Skelton Museum of American Comedy, and the Indiana Military Museum. It is not just a run, but also a chance to get to know the city’s rich history. You can explore these landmarks up close as you traverse the full 13.1 miles
