Ready to start your 2025 running season with a fierce and “#BrutallyAwesome” accomplishment? Look no further than the 13th Annual Winter Night Trail Half & Quarter Marathon in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This unique and challenging race takes place at night on a beautifully designed 6.55-mile loop in Eagle Creek Park, which is typically not open after hours. You’ll run nearly all single-track trails, making it a true test of both endurance and skill. But don’t worry about getting lost in the dark – you’ll be required to bring your own headlamp or flashlight to light the way.

What truly sets this event apart (aside from the nocturnal setting, of course) is the incredible sense of camaraderie and accomplishment that comes with conquering a challenging race under the twinkling stars. Only a limited number of runners are able to participate each year, so if you want to join the celebration, don’t wait – this event sells out every year!

In addition to earning your bragging rights, you’ll also earn the coveted 2024 Winter Night Trail Run 3D finisher medal. You can also choose to add on the optional moisture-wicking race shirt to your collection. But it’s not just about the swag. The Winter Night Trail Half & Quarter Marathon also offers free race photos as well as ample water and Gatorade at two aid stations and the start/finish area. Parking is available in the park, though the beach area lots should be prioritized. Entrance fees to the park are collected upon entry, so come prepared. Ready to celebrate your accomplishments under the stars? Decide you want it more than you fear it and sign up for the Winter Night Trail Half & Quarter Marathon in Indianapolis, Indiana. It’s a race experience unlike any other
