Part of the ZOOMA Women’s Race Series that also features half marathon events in the spring and fall in Austin, Annapolis and Atlanta, the ZOOMA Colorado Half Marathon & 10K replaces the ZOOMA half marathon race that was run in Denver in 2009, and will be run in Colorado Springs in the fall of 2015
Nestled along the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains here in central Colorado, near the base of the famed Pikes Peak, Colorado Springs offers a high-elevation course — the city lies at just over 6,000 feet above sea level — with spectacular mountain scenery all around. The city also is known for its military installations like the Peterson and Schreiver Air Force bases, where military commanders control the nation’s communications and spy satellite programs, and is the home of the United States Air Force Academy.
New Course in 2015. Check race website for course information when released.
