Welcome to the annual Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon & 5k, presented by Altra! Road Runners, Scenic Views. Journeying through some of the most scenic sites that Georgia has to offer, the Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon is amongst the most scenic races in the state. Alpharetta itself is a quant yet vibrant city of Georgia, known for offering its residents with an impeccable quality of life due to the standard of living that they provide and the overall safety and cleanliness of the city at large.
Course Description
Finishing at the heart of the community at Avalon on 2200 Avalon Blvd, the Alpharetta Women’s Half Marathon course winds runners through the community in a looping out-and-back fashion. Whether you’re a beginner or elite runner, this course is a great course for all levels of fitness and ability, encouraging women of all types to come out and test their endurance. The half marathon race has a course limit of four (4) hours. Seeded into groups, the race will use a wave starting system, with official bib times starting when you cross the start line.
