Embark on a scenic journey at Fort Stevens State Park, nestled in the picturesque Northwest corner of Oregon near the mouth of the Columbia River. Our race kicks off and concludes at Coffenbury Lake, right by picnic shelter ‘C’. The course weaves through the park’s hiking and biking trails, offering a delightful experience with mostly flat and asphalt-paved paths. The final stretch around Coffenbury Lake introduces a touch of rolling, light-technical trail – a perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment. As you traverse the park, you’ll encounter two underpasses and a charming bridge. Fort Stevens is a treasure trove of experiences, from beachcombing and freshwater lake swimming to wildlife viewing and exploring a historic shipwreck and military area.
