Embark on a scenic journey at Fort Stevens State Park, nestled in the picturesque Northwest corner of Oregon near the mouth of the Columbia River. Our race kicks off and concludes at Coffenbury Lake, right by picnic shelter ‘C’. The course weaves through the park’s hiking and biking trails, offering a delightful experience with mostly flat and asphalt-paved paths. The final stretch around Coffenbury Lake introduces a touch of rolling, light-technical trail – a perfect blend of challenge and enjoyment. As you traverse the park, you’ll encounter two underpasses and a charming bridge. Fort Stevens is a treasure trove of experiences, from beachcombing and freshwater lake swimming to wildlife viewing and exploring a historic shipwreck and military area. Join us for a race that combines the tranquility of nature with the thrill of running in a uniquely diversified park setting.

Course Description

Enjoy nature at the Battle to the Pacific Half Marathon, 10k and 5k. The race takes place at Fort Stevens State Park, located near the mouth of the Columbia River. The race starts and ends at Coffenbury Lake, and weaves through the park’s hiking and biking trails. The course is mostly flat and paved asphalt trails. The final stretch of the course around the lake includes a rolling, lightly technical trail, adding a bit of a challenge. Along the course runners will encounter two underpasses and a charming bridge.
