The Bayshore 70.4 is a series of triathlon events hosted in Long Beach, California, consisting of both a long course and sprint triathlon option. The long course comprises 2200 yard swim, 56-mile bike, and of course, a 13.1-mile half-marathon run.
PR Chasers, Scenic Views. Designed as an early season training race, the Bayshore Long Course Traithlon, particularly the half marathon portion of the race, is a flat and fast double looping course comprising three aid stations throughout.
Taking runners along Shoreline Way aside the Long Beach coastline, participants can expect to enjoy spectacular ocean and beach views in ideal spring conditions that are mild and sunny.
Whilst a triathlon, the running portion of the event starts on 5411 E Ocean Blvd, taking runners alongside Long Beach on Shoreline Way in a two-loop out-and-back course to finish the final leg of the triathlon.
