Course Description
This event features USATF-certified courses for all races, ensuring a top-notch racing experience. The Marathon, a Boston Qualifier, allows participants to traverse the entire trail twice, witnessing stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife along the way. Spectators can cheer on runners multiple times without leaving the start/finish area.
The Half Marathon showcases nearly all of the trail, taking runners on a loop towards Buena Vista before returning to the starting line in Lexington. Meanwhile, the 10K and 5K routes offer their own unique perspectives of the trail, winding through remote sections of the Maury River and past towering limestone cliffs.
For those seeking a team challenge, the 26.2 Relay presents an opportunity to conquer the Marathon course in legs ranging from 4.6 to 8.5 miles. Teams can customize their relay batons and compete in divisions based on gender composition.
Walkers are welcome in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, ensuring inclusivity for participants of all paces. Registration includes custom race apparel, medals for all finishers, awards for top performers, and post-race refreshments.
