Overview
The Colorado Cold Rush Ultra 50k and Half Marathon is a fan favorite for you winter runners out there. Exceptionally designed with winter terrain in mind, participants will surely enjoy the experience.
Trail Runners, Destination Race. Taking place in beautiful Bear Creek Regional Park during the dead of winter, runners can expect challenging terrain throughout the tunnels of the Colorado Gold Rush.
Course Description
The half marathon course is an out-and-back course taking runners over the top of historic High Drive. Starting at 7:30 am, runners will reach their first landmark at mile 3 and High Canon. Onward to Cheyenne Canon after surpassing mile 6, runners will then make their way toward High Canon at mile 11 before crossing the finish line. Upon registration, all runners will receive a gender-specific race shirt, a winter neck gaiter, and a race bib. Upon completion, runners will receive a commemorative finisher’s medal and, of course, a post-race meal. All aid stations throughout the course will be well-stocked with water, tailwind, energy gels, snacks, fruit, and soda.
