In response to the growing number of participants, the upcoming races, including the half marathon, 10K, and 5K, will feature new start times for a seamless experience. The half marathon is set to begin at 7:00 am, with the 10K and 5K races following closely at 7:05 am, ensuring all runners have ample space and support throughout their journey.
To celebrate their achievement, all half marathon participants will be awarded finisher medals, and every runner across all distances will be treated to a complimentary breakfast. Additionally, post-race recovery is prioritized with free stretching sessions and chair massages available to all participants, promoting wellness and recovery.
Packet pickup is conveniently scheduled for the day before the race, July 5th, from 4:30 to 7:30 pm at Riviera Bowl and Pizzeria, and on race day morning, July 6th, from 5:30 to 6:30 am near the start line. This ensures all runners are well-prepared and stress-free on race day.
Parking is available at Riverfront Park near the start line and at Jaycee Park, offering easy access to the event. The races will take place on July 6th, 2024, utilizing the scenic Great Sauk Bike trail. The start line is located at the entrance of the Sauk City Riverfront Park, with the finish line strategically placed behind the Police Station on Riviera Street, creating a convenient loop for runners and spectators alike.
This event, known as the Eagle 5K, Eagle 10K, & Eagle Half-Marathon, promises an exciting and well-organized race day experience from start to finish, set against the backdrop of Sauk City’s beautiful landscapes and community spirit.
