The Frost Eagle Trail Run, taking place in Soaring Eagle Regional Park in Sammamish, Washington, offers a 5-mile and half marathon. The course has rocks, roots, and technical singletrack sections. While the courses feature rolling hills, they are mostly short or moderate. A portion of the course is on the Pipeline Trail, providing a gravel surface that may turn muddy in some areas.
The courses form a figure 8, and they have aid stations where they cross in the middle. Aid stations offer water, electrolyte drink, and some carbohydrate-rich or salty foods, like cookies, pieces of energy bar, gels, chews, chips, bagel, fruity candy, fig bars, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, and bananas.
