Welcome to the Great Bison Shuffle, where participants have the rare opportunity to traverse the scenic Terry Bison Ranch while supporting CRMC’s Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation program. This event offers a unique experience, allowing you to run or walk on an actual working buffalo ranch with a rich history.
The course winds through the expansive 27,500-acre ranch, once the south headquarters of the historic Warren Livestock Company. President Theodore Roosevelt himself visited the ranch in the early 1900s. Today, the ranch boasts breathtaking views of gentle rolling prairie pasture, a rocky hill known as “The Terry Bison Incline,” and buffalo trails, providing participants with a challenging yet rewarding terrain.
Choose from the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon courses, all of which cross into Colorado and offer scenic vistas along the way. Aid stations will be available, offering water and light refreshments, while participants are encouraged to bring their own energy gels and chews. The event will be chip timed, with packet pickup options available prior to race day.
Join us for this unforgettable experience at the Great Bison Shuffle, where you’ll not only enjoy a picturesque course but also contribute to a worthy cause. Please note that while strollers are permitted, the trail may be wet, muddy, or rocky in areas, and dogs are not allowed due to the unique environment.
