HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Half Marathon

The start line is located near Rock Canyon School Park, with the finish line located in the same proximal location. To begin this half marathon course, runners set off along the backcountry trails, crossing Grigs Road at mile 1.65. Proceeding through the many twists and turns of this looping trail course, runners will find themselves heading back toward the finish line along Grigs Road at mile 8. Passing Daniels Gate Park, runners then take a turn onto Monarch Blvd before the final stretch toward the finish line. Upon registration, all participants will receive a long-sleeve technical race shirt and a custom race bib. Upon completion of the race, all finishers will be awarded a finisher’s medal, and better, a post-race pancake breakfast. Finally, it’s onto the post-race beers for those above the legal drinking age, compliments of Living the Dream Brewing.
