Held in Bristol, RI, the Independence Rhode Race takes place on Saturday, June 22, 2024. There is an in-person and virtual half marathon and a two-person relay.
In collaboration with the Bristol Fourth of July Committee, the half marathon route goes through the decorated downtown streets. Runners will see historic homes, a town common, and the America’s Cup Museum before running along the coastline, following the parade route. The race ends at Independence Park. The post-race party is held at Pivotal Brewing, and runners will get a free beer.
