For those looking for something outdoors-y and active to do this coming labor day weekend, be sure to put down this Labor Day Half Marathon in beautiful Parker, Colorado as the activity of choice – fun for the entire family!
Road Runners, Trail Runners. Taking place in Salisbury Equestrian Park in Parker, Colorado, the Labor Day Half Marathon, taking place on September 2nd, 2024, gives a great excuse to enjoy the great outdoors during this long-weekend.
Traveling through Salisbury Equestrian Park and along Cherry Creek Trail for the duration of the race, this entirely paved course takes runners out-and-back with several (seven) aid stations throughout. With a total elevation gain of 317 feet and elevation loss of 316 feet, this fairly flat course offers runners with a great opportunity to PR! As part of the entry fee, all participants will receive a race logo t-shirt, a finisher’s medal, access to post-race goodies (food & beverage), fully-stocked aid stations, professional chip times, and of course, free downloadable race-day professional pictures. Starting at 7:00 am and closing at 10:30 am, this half marathon race provides runners with 3 hours 30 minutes to complete the course successfully. Finally, with an award ceremony post-race, the top male and female performer along with top age group finishers will be recognized accordingly.
