The Lake Cumberland Half is a 13.1-mile point-to-point race benefiting Habitat for Humanity in Pulaski County, Kentucky. Runners can choose from a half marathon or 10K.
The half marathon begins at 7:30 A.M., while the 10K starts at 8:15 A.M. Race packets can be collected at Somerset Community College the day before. or on race day starting at 5:30 A.M. Parking is exclusively available at Somerset Community College, with transportation provided to both the starting and finishing lines.
Runners will traverse the picturesque Lake Cumberland, weaving through Burnside and Ferguson before concluding at Somerset Community College.
There are awards for top runners in various divisions, and all half-marathon entrants receive a Sport-Tek PosiCharge Tri-Blend Wicking Raglan Tee, a 3″ Finisher’s Medal, and a Race Decal. The 10K finishers are rewarded with Tri-Blend Raglan Race Shirts, a 1.75” finisher’s medal, and decals.
