The Lucky Leprechaun Falling Half Marathon, 10 Miler, and 5K takes place annually in Springs Recreation Center in Versailles, Kentucky. The races offered include a half marathon, 10-mile run, and 5K. This event is held in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day marks the start of the spring racing season in the Bluegrass region.
The race starts and ends at the scenic Falling Springs Recreation Center, and runners get to navigate the surrounding country roads. The course is entirely paved.
Registrants get a commemorative performance race T-shirt. The registration also offers discounts for runners who refer five other people. All finishers receive a medal and free photos. There are also overall and age group awards. Dressing as a leprechaun could win you an award in the Best Dressed Leprechaun Contest. Post-race, there will be a DJ and festivities.
