Course Dynamics:
Prepare to conquer a 3.275-mile course, strategically designed for optimal performance. The marathon entails four loops, while the half marathon covers two loops. The 5k and 10k races follow a single loop. Hydration stations strategically placed at the loop, 5k, 10k, and 3.275-mile turn-around points ensure runners stay fueled and hydrated throughout the race.
Advantages of the Course:
Embrace the support of family and friends at the loop’s start/finish and the 1.3-mile mark, where a side road intersects the trail, offering convenient parking for spectators. The course’s layout not only encourages community participation but also enhances medical response time, ensuring safety is a top priority.
Scenic Route and Mother Nature’s Embrace:
Commencing at Ridge Manor Trail Head, Exit 301 off I-75, this flat and fast course invites you to immerse yourself in the serene surroundings. Open exclusively to Mother Nature, the route is closed to motor vehicles, offering an uninterrupted and inspiring journey. Three hydration stations strategically placed along the course keep runners refreshed.
