Midnight on the Mesa Trail Running Races (July 19th, 2024 starting at 7pm)

Experience the thrill of running the high desert of beautiful Pinedale, Wyoming. With a starting altitude of 7285′, you’ll feel as though you are running among the stars during your choice of race distance. With a start time of 7pm, the half marathon trail race will begin just in time to finish under the rising moon. The 10K race distance will begin shortly after the half marathon at 8pm and the 5K will begin at 9pm; all race distances will run the same loop 4, 2 or 1-lap, respectively. The 3 (ish) mile loop will take participants up 375′ to the top of Mount Airy for a spectacular view of the Wind River Mountains towering over the Pinedale valley and the expansiveness of the Mesa before winding down the two track and single track trails back to base camp. Whether your goal is to run the big half marathon or the 5K (1-lap) race, this friendly trail race race is the perfect summer trail race. You can also use this trail race to help train for the local Pinedale Half Marathon in September!
