Embark on a journey of remote, rugged, and rewarding terrain at the Painted Hills Festival Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K on September 2, 2023, starting at 7:00 am. The adventure commences at the enchanting Painted Hills, guiding you through some of Oregon’s most majestic and untamed landscapes. The Half Marathon route leads you along backroads to the historic town of Mitchell, offering a unique and challenging experience.
Stay fueled and encouraged with water and support stations strategically placed along the course, ensuring you’re never too far from the motivation you need to conquer the rugged beauty of the surroundings.
Bib pickup begins at 7 am at the Mitchell gym, and late registration is available from 6:45 am. A convenient shuttle bus will transport participants from the gym to their designated starting points, streamlining the logistics for a smooth and enjoyable race day.
For those eager to commemorate the experience, race shirts are still available and can be obtained at the Country Store in the park after the race.
