The Reindeer Run offers something for everyone, whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting your running journey. The day begins with check-in from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM, setting the stage for a memorable day of fitness and fun.
The race starts promptly at 7:30 AM, with a half marathon cutoff at 10:45 AM. If you’re eager to finish earlier, an early start option is available; just email us at [email protected] to make the necessary arrangements.
The race begins near the tables closest to 54th Place, right at the start of the picturesque beach path. Please note, use Google Maps or Waze for navigation, as the Apple Maps app may not provide accurate directions. To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend carpooling and arriving early to secure parking and use the restrooms. As a precaution, we advise bringing toilet paper, as beach restrooms may not always be fully stocked in the early morning hours.
One of the highlights of the Reindeer Run is the stunning course, offering a scenic view of the oceanfront. There’s no better way to experience the joy of running while taking in the ocean’s beauty and breathing in the crisp sea air.
Choose your challenge from a 5k out-and-back route, a 10k consisting of two 5k loops, a 15k comprising three 5k loops, or a half marathon involving three 4.36-mile loops. The route provides a diverse and exciting running experience for participants of all levels.
Please note that participants are not allowed to run with dogs, but running or walking with a stroller is permitted. For those taking on the half marathon, there’s a 3-hour and 15-minute time limit.
