A Eugene Tradition
You know Thanksgiving is right around the corner when you cross the finish line of the Run to Stay Warm. For more than a decade, runners of all ages have been gathering on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to run a Half Marathon, 10K, or 5K on Eugene’s beautiful river paths, all while raising money to benefit EWEB’s Customer Care Program. With a flat course, great swag, a fun after-party, and an incredible cause, circle November 24 on your calendar and get ready to Run to Stay Warm!
Races for the Whole Family
The Run to Stay Warm has a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and free Kid’s Run – meaning there’s something for everyone! All courses start and finish at the new Riverfront Park and run throughout Alton Baker Park and the Ruth Bascom River Path.
Prefer just to cheer? The Peter Defazio Bridge is the perfect place to see your runner as they approach the finish line!
A Fun Finish
Sure, the temperatures may not be very high, but you’ve earned the right to stand outside and enjoy a cold (or hot) beverage! Enjoy the post-race party at the Riverfront Park with food, beer, hot chocolate and more! See more information here.
