Ring in the holiday season with miles of festive flair at the Holiday Showdown in Rose Rudman Park, Tyler, TX, on Sunday, November 30, 2025. Hosted by Run Different, this multi-distance event brings classic races—Half Marathon, 10K, 5K—plus a Kid’s Dash for first-time racers and young runners.
Launched to create community fun amid the holidays, the event combines approachable pricing, big swag, and a cheerful atmosphere. The Kid’s Dash—a short 100‑200 meter sprint—begins the celebration at 6:45 AM CST, followed by the Half Marathon at 7:00 AM, 10K at 7:05 AM, and 5K at 7:15 AM. All runners enjoy flat, paved park trails lined by mature trees and seasonal décor. Age‑group awards are distributed on-site immediately after the race—no mail‑away medals here.
